Today's scan was interesting and amazing, could hear my baby's heartbeat and my gynae purposely turn up the volume to let us hear :) Baby's heartbeat was strong and fast.

7th visit to the gynae

I am excited for the appt today as I wanted to see baby's gender. During last appointment, his leg was closed and my gynae can't really see, but he did try to see and told us that he think that he saw 'something down there'...haha..but not confirmed.
Talked to baby yesterday,asking him to be cooperative tomorrow and open his leg big so that mummy and daddy will know his gender and can buy toys and clothes for him :) And this morning before the appt, I talked to him again. Indeed during the ultrascan, my baby is so cooperative that my gynae saw 'it'...haha... gynae told me this 'you don't have to buy pink colour anymore'...lol...my gynae is so humorous, then he said 'he has to serve ns...haha'
My baby boy is so cute and obedient :)
After that, my gynae scan his 'chicken wing' for us to see... his leg..and commented that his leg is long and will be tall like us..haha
After the appointment, we went to Malaysia to buy my contact lens and some groceries. While shopping at Jusco, we saw baby clothes and since now we know his gender, we can start buying some clothes for him. We bought a white colour top and bottom for him, the material is really soft and the design is very cute..hehe..and it cost us only RM15.90, the exchange rate for today is 2.55, so it's only about S$6.

My first visit to the gynae. After contemplating for so long on which gynae to visit, I have finally settled on Dr Poon King Fu at Hougang Ave 1, took half day leave to see him as I can't wait any longer. Although the nurses at other gynae clinic told me to see a gynae only at week6-8 but the wait is tormenting as I don't have the assurance from the doctor that I am pregnant and is my baby safe and any vitamins/supplements that I need to take? There are so many ????? in my mind, so I decided not to drag any longer, just make an earliest appointment at a nearby gynae. Appointment was at 2.30pm and I was very nervous, didn't know what to expect and the worst is that my hubby is late and I was alone. The clinic is very quiet and there is only 2 patients in front of me, all in all, I waited about only half an hour before it was my turn and hubby is not here yet! Haiz, nevermind, just see the gynae myself. The gynae is a gentle and soft spoken man, he asked my alot on my family history and also my husband's family history before he start with the ultrasound scan. Told my blood pressure before that and as always, it's very high. So after a series of questions, the nurse lead me to the bed to start with the ultrasound scan. The doctor touch my abdominal a few times and tell me that my stomach has alot of wing, so ask me to avoid cabbage, coconut and use my nose to breathe. He said that it will not affect the baby, but I myself will feel uncomfortable for the bloated stomach. Then he started with the scan, it's really amazing, although can't see much at this stage (about 5weeks), can only see a small sac and he say there is my baby :) The kind of joy and confirmation is beyond words can describe. After the scan, he said that he will prescribe me with An Tai Yao as I have some stomach cramps. Once I left the doctor's room, the nurse pass me the urine strip for urine test. This 1st appointment cost me $172! Wow, it's really very expensive and the expensive part is the An Tai Yao, which cost $40 for 20 tablets!
I whatsapp my hubby the scan image and he was so happy :)
The next appointment will be 2 weeks from now and I guess by then should be able to hear my baby's heartbeat :)

I am Pregnant! Finally....
This is like a miracle, I am finally pregnant! Yeah! Me and hubby has been married for 7years and haven't been able to conceive. When my mil was around (she has passed away last year November), she kept nagging at us and go everywhere to pray for us. Year after year passed by and there's still no news from me and she is very disappointed. She kept saying that 1 of her unfulfilled wish is us having a baby.
For me and my hubby, we actually didn't really try very hard as we are somehow not prepared to have a baby. We try seeing a TMC but it doesn't help. The TMC is very lousy, didn't even feel my pulse to diagnose, just say that I had PCOS because the hairs on my hand are very long, what kind of stupid logic is this??? Totally waste my $$ seeing her. Last year May, we went to see a gynae at Thomson Medical, we did all sorts of test and the result came back normal. She told me to try until Dec, if still no news, go back and take the clomid from her. I was given folic acid. I didn't go back to take the clomic acid as I am sure that my ovulation is normal. Somewhere in Mar'13, I saw this post on facebook regarding a soup for woman with fertility issues and those that has abnormal periods.
After reading the post, I was convinced that the soup will be effective. So I start boiling the soup and drink it once a month and I would avoid cold food and drinks. After drinking it the 4th time, my period was late. I tested on 30/06 night with a test kit that I just bought from Malaysia. It shows 1 obvious line and 1 blur line, I thought my eyes were playing a trick on me, so I show my husband and he confirmed there is a faint line. He didn't know what it meant, so I told him that a faint line can be considered as Positive. He was so shocked, haha. So the next day, he bought 2 more kit for me to test. Was supposed to test a few days later but I couldn't wait and was almost certain that I an preggy cause I hv been feeling extremely tired and has stomach cramps. So I tested again at night with a Clearblue kit and indeed it was 2 clear lines! Its finally a BFP!
The first person that I notify is my Mum, but she doesn't sound very happy, just very normal. My husband has told his sisters, his best friends, sworn brothers, boss, colleagues about it, he is damn excited, haha.
