Caydon self feed at 17mths old

My darling has mastered the technique of self feeding with fork and spoon at 17mths old...1mth before he promote to playgroup :)

Wk12 of my pregnancy

This week marks the 12th week of my pregnancy, the nausea feeling is still there and the tiredness has not lessen. I am hoping that entering 2nd trimester, I will feel less tired so that I can do more things and can accompany caydon more.

Caydon has become more sensible

Caydon is soooo cute and has become more sensible lately. When he is about to poo or after poo, he will take the diaper and wet wipes to me. After  changing diaper,  he will bring the dirty diaper to the dustbin and throw it away. Tdy he start to talk alot but none of us understand what he is saying...haha

Caydon is extremely cute lately

Lately when we are preparing milk for him, he will stand at the kitchen gate to wait. Then when we are about to give him his milk, he will walk very fast to the playmat and lay down, get ready first. ... soooo cute lor. Usually bb will take the milk btl then lay down...haha

Caydon is able to walk unassisted

My baby is able to walk unassisted at about 13mths old, mummy is so proud of you :)

正月二十六- Caydon's lunar birthday

Today is Caydon's lunar birthday.  I cooked meesua for him and he loves it. Also prepared the many items for him to pick one (抓周), he picked the football first but didn't hold it, next he picked up the pen with a soft toy head. So what does that means? He's going to be a writer in future! Haha.

We wish our baobei to be healthy and happy always :)

He has his jab at 8am, both mmr and peunoccol, one at his arm, the other at his thigh. Height was 75cm, weight 8.5kg.

28feb2015-Caydon knows how to use sippy cup

I am so happy today that Caydon knows how to use the mag mag cup today. I have been keeping the cup for quite some time cos he dont know how to suck the straw, Then today I suddenly want to let him try again, at first he kept biting the straw, then I demonstrate how to suck in front of him, then he's like imitate me and suck until loud loud!  Haha... my clever boy

25feb2015-Caydon's first birthday

Today is my naughty boy's first birthday. We had a advance birthday party for him on 22feb, which is cny 初四 at Swensen's Nex Mall. It's a simple celebration with our family members and 2 of my colleagues, 5 menu high tea buffet. Pictures will be up later, still waiting for the photographer to send me the photos. Initially I had many ideas of the celebration, eg. Having a beautiful themed dessert table, I checked everywhere for the quote, I also want to customise a 2 tier winnie the pooh cake... all these ideas couldn't materalise because of $$. My husband rejected all my ideas, saying that we are on a tight budget and there's no need to spend so much $, kept saying that Caydon actually don't know what happened and won't remember.

So I end up with the cheapest I can find, Swensens $16.90++ each pax and includes cake. I bought a few balloons and a banner for decorations.

Up til today, he has 2 lower front teeth and there are 4 upper teeth coming out at the same time! He could walk holding on to something but not independently yet.

25Jan2015-Caydon is 11mth old today

Happy 11mth old my bb. But poor boy is down with stomach flu, brought him to 育国 to see the Chinese  doctor and tuina. Doctor prescribe 2 days of med, hopefully his diarrhoea will stop fast :(

Went to the baby fair today, initially wanted to buy the smart trike but didn't get it cos the cheapest one at $169 (disc price) is not smooth to push, the newer model which is very smooth to push is $219, out of our budget...haha..Will look for a 2nd hand instead.

Caydon say 'nen nen' (milk milk)

My clever boy start to say 'neng neng' when he wants to drink milk, at around 9mth+ :)

13Jan15 Caydon called 'Daddy'

Wow wow, around 1am on 14jan, caydon woke up for milk and hubby attend to him as I am not feeling well and was sound asleep. He carry caydon to my sil while he go and prepare milk. Then my sil heard caydon call 'daddy' many times! Haha...

Summarise: At 10mth+, caydon called 'daddy'.
